Patric's Hope artwork with orange heart-shaped LOVAHs moving through a bright blue sky
A neurodivergent friendly site.Learn more

Most of the places you go online weren't made for minds like ours — too loud, too fast, too much at once. This place is built the other way around: calm pictures first, short words, nothing that pretends to work, and all the time you need. Special needs, mental health, every kind of different brain — everybody belongs here, exactly as they are.

Welcome.
Take your time.

The story lives in the surroundings.

Patric's LOVAHs have their own language: heart and apple shapes, loose black curls, saturated orange, red, pink, and green, all moving through blue skies. The planet hoppers, butterflies, stars, clouds, and little easel paintings belong to that same world.

Create your space.

Imagine one of Patric's pieces living where you begin the day, make music, work through a problem, or take a breath. Prints can become a quiet reminder of the thought you want nearby—not a sales pitch, just art becoming part of real life.

Choose a feeling to picture on the wall.

Love — a bright reminder near the places where life happens.

Pick a word. Step inside.

Black-and-white doodle weaving all seven words: peace, hope, love, joy, play, smile, wish, believe, try, kindness — Follow your heart, past the stars, to your dreams.
All seven words, woven together in one doodle.

One day each word gets its own shirt, its own plant stick, its own wall. For now, each word gets its own art. Pick one and step inside.

LIFE

The free space. Find a thought. Learn one useful thing. Catch up without pretending you already know.

What sounds good right now?

You are allowed to ask.

“Can you explain that without assuming I already know the background?” is a complete and smart question.

Your LOVAH will never make fun of what you do not know.

Patric, doing his favorite work.

A real person, telling it plain.

I am Patric. I have real problems, and I tell real, raw stories about what I did with them. I think of it as finding the abilities within the disability—learning how my mind works, then building a life that lets those abilities show.

Who I am, in a few more words.Learn more

I’m a 59-year-old kid. For about 30 years I’ve shared my life online — not my problems, but what I did with them: my music, my art, my people. My posts start with 🤓💚🎬, for my neurodivergent folks who feel pictures and music more than words.

During the day I do my favorite work — I work with Mr. Derek, who’s known as a disabled adult. That just means he has special things about him that need some assistance, and we work with it in a very creative way.

Learning about yourself is a good thing. Once you know what you’re dealing with, you can explore ways to work with it. That’s what I’ve done my whole life, and now I’m sharing it. That’s why this is a neurodivergent site — a calming site, a fun place to go. This whole site is about bringing people together through creativity and thoughtfulness. The good thoughts.

My seven daily words: hope, wish, dream, believe, love, smile, play.

🎵 A song I wrote

A 30-second taste. I post songs, art, and everyday moments on my socials — come find me up there. 👆

The person is still the one creating.

I use art, music, therapy, and AI to help me get thoughts out of my head and into a shape other people can understand. Those things are accommodations. They are not the person.

“They meet the man, not the disability.”

I bring what is true. A helper can organize it, a song can carry it, and a picture can make you feel it before I have every word. That is an ability within the disability: learning what works for my mind instead of asking it to work like somebody else’s. I am still the one creating.

Why the good thoughts matter

I do not share my life because everything is easy. I share what I did with the hard parts. I make a song, paint a LOVAH, help somebody, or try again the next day. That is what following the good thoughts means to me.

An artist’s brain does not keep office hours

An artist’s brain cannot always create from nine to five. Mine needs to be creative at different times, so the real work is learning how to manage that in everyday life. That is not a negative story about my mind. It is a true story about knowing how my ability works.

Made by hand.

Me writing it. Me photographing it. Not just the item — the hands behind it.
